Beloved Husband of Betty Ann Burns, nee Ballard; Loving Father of Nancy Marie (Dr. Patrick) Marek, Thomas Richard Burns, Mary Catherine (Chas.) Freemon, Jeffrey Allen (Shirley) Burns, Keith William Burns, Scott Michael Burns and the late John Edward Burns; Grandfather of Todd Patrick (Monika Budáčová) Marek, 
Ryan (Amy) Marek, Joshua Burns, Adam Burns, Brandon Charles (Catherine) Freemon, Evan Freemon, Caleigh Burns and Kelsie Burns; Great Grandfather of Harper Marie Marek; Dear Brother and Uncle of many.
